Attention greatly affects our behaviour in granting us benefits like lower reaction times or decreased perception threshold. Studies show that attentional mechanisms are closely related to our brain oscillations. Attending a location leads e.g. to a contralateral decrease in α in the corresponding sensory cortex and to an ipsilateral increase. I am interested in the effects of attention on a multisensory environment at the behavioural and oscillaty level and I am using psychophysics and EEG for my experiments.
